So where does this leave you?

 There is a big difference between knowing about someone and actually knowing them.

 Likewise today, millions of people are acquainted with knowledge about Jesus.
{Even the devil and the evil spirits know who Jesus is!}

Many people seem to be aware of certain things yet never or seldom actually come to a complete understanding of who, what or why this thing is! This is the same with God in their lives...  False religion is the key to most defeat people have in this life...
They may even be moral and observe religious ceremonies, but if they don't personally experience knowing Jesus, they are not saved and will not make it to heaven.  Because even the devils believe and tremble but they aren't saved.

Our spiritual man became dead unto (separated from) God through sin.

 Just as we didn't accomplish our physical birth, we cannot produce this spiritual rebirth. We are totally incapable of saving ourselves, therefore, we need a Savior. We simply believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and we are saved.

Salvation is not a reformation, but rather a regeneration, a new birth, a new creation, that can only be accomplished by a creative miracle of the Holy Spirit.

You must be born again!

Many well meaning people in the church today pride themselves on their observance of the law
 (like the 10 commandments), but they are only keeping the letter of the law and spirit of the law - missing its true intent.

The greatest of all the Old Testament laws was to love God and then to love your neighbor as yourself.

Unless you actually come to believe and Love the Lord God in your heart all the rest will be wasted as frivolous religious duty -  so why go there?

It used to eat of his morsel and drink from his cup and lie in his arms, and it was like a daughter to him. Now there came a traveler to the rich man, and he was unwilling to take one of his own flock or herd to prepare for the guest who had come to him, but he took the poor man's lamb and prepared it for the man who had come to him.” Then David's anger was greatly kindled against the man, and he said to Nathan, “As the Lord lives, the man who has done this deserves to die, ...
